Unity Basics (New Member) class: begins march 16
Unity Basics (New Member) classes are beginning soon! These classes are filled with great information on Unity and can be used as a “refresher course” or for anyone new to our community! No membership commitment necessary to attend.
Class 1 options (pick one): Thursday, March 16th, 6:30-8:30PM Saturday, March 18th, 9-11AM Class 2 options (pick one): Thursday, March 23rd , 6:30-8:30 PM Saturday, March 25th, 9:00-11:00 AM To become a member, you must attend a “Class 1” session and a “Class 2” session. If you would like to become a member of Unity KC North, please fill out a membership card and put it in the offering basket or leave at the Connections Center. Class meets in-person. Room TBD. No cost. Sign up at the Connections Center or by contacting office at 816-436-0200. Childcare available with advance registration. |

Originating in ancient China, tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body. Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. For many, it continues as a lifetime journey. We are continuing our collection for much needed items to help individuals and families experiencing houselessness in the Northland.
Wish list: Clothing - mostly for men - warm coats of all sizes - jeans: 30"-36" waist most needed - sweatshirts or warm long sleeve shirts: M-2X - boxer briefs: M-XL - warm socks (no ankle socks needed at this time) - long underwear: M-XL - winter, warm shoes/boots: 8-12 men Hygiene Items - toothbrushes - toothpaste (travel size tubes, please) - deodorant (travel size) - Hand warmer packs - lip balm - pocket combs Please place donated items in lobby bins.
