Ministerial Intern, Brenda Peters, will lead an Intro to Meditation workshop Sunday, November 10th, from 12-2 PM. Meditation is proven to be a valuable tool in the caretaking of people’s health and well-being.
Learn about the many different styles of meditation
and how to:
~Reduce fatigue, stress, anxiety, & pain
~Enhance physical & mental health
~Impact your overall happiness
Invite your friends, family, and co-workers – this workshop is open to ages 14 and up! Lunch will be available for purchase prior to workshop. Sign up online or at the Connections Center.
Brenda Peters has a passion to transform lives, be of service to others and to keep learning. She accomplishes this by her inspirational talks which she does at different Unity churches and other organizations. She is serving Unity of Omaha as the bookstore manager, platform assistant and Prayer Chaplain. When not helping out at Unity of Omaha she is an office manager at Complete Behavioral Health.
Brenda has a BA in Journalism with a concentration in Photography and Broadcasting with a minor in English. After working many different positions as an administrative assistant and support roles, she felt the pull to be of service and yet at the same time somehow inspire others to become their True selves. After becoming a member at Unity of Omaha she heard the call to ministry and is working towards her Masters in Divinity at Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute.
