12 POWERS SUNDAY SERIES
Begins January 11th

Unity's 12 Powers is a spiritual concept developed by Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity movement, which emphasizes the innate divine potential within each individual. These powers are considered faculties of the human mind that, when cultivated and harmonized, can lead to a more fulfilling and spiritually enriched life.
The twelve powers identified by Fillmore include faith, strength, wisdom, love, power, imagination, understanding, will, order, zeal, elimination, and life. Each power is associated with a specific spiritual quality and a corresponding body part, symbolizing how these energies can manifest within us. For instance, faith is linked with the pituitary gland and represents our ability to perceive the good and realize our inner potential.
By consciously developing these powers, individuals can achieve higher levels of consciousness, align with their true purpose, and contribute positively to the world around them. This holistic approach encourages a balanced growth of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual faculties, fostering personal transformation and a deeper connection with the divine.

Join us for this 12-week Sunday series to move in to a deeper understanding what is inherent in each and every one of us!

Bathe in the healing vibrations of sound with Susan Harp.
2nd Sundays @ noon in the sanctuary.
All are welcome. Love offerings accepted.

What is sound healing?
Sound healing is the use of specific instruments, music, tones, and other sonic vibrations to balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit. It involves using specialized sound frequencies to create a therapeutic atmosphere to promote deep rest, nervous system rebalancing, and emotional release. Ideally, a hypnotic, meditative or theta brainwave state is created which allows access to deeper levels of inner wisdom and healing.

A sound therapy treatment is performed using music or other sounds that you listen to while lying down or comfortably seated. Focusing on these soothing vibrations helps you relax and release stress, anxiety, and tension. It also encourages deep breathing and, may include meditation prompts and visualization exercises as well.
